12/1/2019 1 Comment Something From Carol...Good Afternoon and Happy Sunday everyone,
Another quick post today. Yesterday evening Carol shared this thoughtful graphic with me via email and asked me to post it here for you all to see. We both hope you are having a wonderful weekend and taking some time for yourself (and staying off the roads) on this snowy Sunday. December is here, which often means a month of being on-the-go and busy with family, Christmas and other winter holidays, social gatherings, work events, etc., so remember take some time to yourself today. Self-care is so very important to both care partners and family. All the best, Joe

This quote perfectly represents what I felt when I had to say goodbye to my grandmother before she passed away. It was the hardest thing I have ever done and it is something that I hope no one will ever get to experience because the pain was unbearable. My grandmother took care of me since I was a baby, so I am very close to her. Before I said goodbye, she reminded me that the time will come when I may forget about her, but she knows that I will forever live on in my heart. To this day, I hold on to that promise and I know that no matter where life takes me, she will always be a part of who I am.
