In Loving Memory
It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce the death of Carol's beloved husband Bob. Bob died this past Saturday afternoon at the age of 75. The funeral will be held this Friday at the Christ Lutheran Church in Waterloo. Visitations will be held on Thursday at the Erb and Good Funeral Home.
First and foremost, Carol wanted to say a sincere thank you to everyone that has supported her over these past few months and to everyone who has been a part of the journey here at CLBDI.
Due to Bob's death, we will be taking a brief break* from CLBDI to grieve, reflect and heal. We intend to return in a few weeks to continue on on our path and to keep shining a light on LBD.
Carol wanted me to mention that Bob's final gift to humanity and to the LBD community is the donation of his brain to the Dr. Pasternak’s LBD research team. Unfortunately, it is only after one dies that anything research-related can be done with an LBD patient's brain. Bob's donation could lead to new information regarding the disease and that is why we refer to it as a gift for all of humanity.
Please follow the link below to the Erb and Good Funeral Home website to find information on the funeral service and visitations, to share a memory or pay your respects, to make a donation in Bob's name or to read the shortened version of Bob's obituary.
A full obituary will be run in the Waterloo Region Record tomorrow and Wednesday.
"Death leaves a heartache no one can heal.
Love leaves a memory no one can steal."
As always, we are wishing you light, love and peace.
* I, Joe, will still be checking the email regularly but Carol will be taking some time for herself. This means that though I can answer any questions, respond to or forward anything you may send... regular work has stalled until she returns. Thanks.
