We are excited to let you know that our Facebook page is now live and will be posting regularly as the summer comes to an end and onward into the fall and the new year. We are hoping it will become a social hub for everyone to connect and share their experiences and information. We have also updated our resource page and, as we mentioned in the previous post, are working on some original content for September. In the coming weeks, we will be closing down the site for a day or two to update the layout and make some cosmetic changes to the site that incorporates our original content and social media. More information on these changes will be posted soon.

And finally, we want to wish everyone a safe, happy and wonderful end of summer.

Good Afternoon,

This blog post is going to be a big one. We have so much information and exciting news to share. First of all, due to the nature of reality right now, the Facebook page took a little bit longer to put together but Carol and I were able to meet finally to get things moving. The page will launch later this week and we urge everyone to go and follow us. You will be able to connect with us directly and take part in a LBD community/our CLBDI community events (both online and in person, when it is allowed).

In the coming months we will be setting up an online march store, sharing our own custom content, reaching out to the wider community through press, and starting the CLBDI YouTube page, running some cool online fundraisers and so much more.

With that being said, we will be doing some work on the website to include a community page where you can stay up to date with our social media and events if you do not have access or choose to not be a part of social media. There will be a brief period where the site will be under construction for an overall update later this month but we will announce the dates and duration and will surely be back as soon as possible.

The merchandise will likely launch in September along with the YouTube account and our rollout of custom content, along with our quarterly donation total. 

Also, we just wanted to let you know that you can watch Robin's Wish on Netflix come September 1st in both America and Canada (though the latter is somewhat uncertain, we have conflicting reports that it may be American exclusive). You can also find it online through a simple google search. It is a documentary that follows the last days of the late great comedian/actor Robin Williams who also battled with LBD and is well worth the watch.
