The Robert Edward Schmidt Trust Fund/Lewy Body Dementia Research Fund
This Trust Fund was created to honour Bob Schmidt (June 28th, 1944 - February 8th, 2020), my beloved husband and Lewy Warrior.
There is so little information available in our area and across the globe about Lewy Body Dementia. I learned this myself during the two and a half years of research following Bob's LBD diagnosis. This Trust Fund was set up with the excellent help of my financial planner and his colleagues at The Investors Group. Money from this fund will help the research of Dr. Stephen Pasternak and his colleagues at the Robarts Research Institute at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. They are on the cutting edge of researching Lewy Body Dementia.

All money directly donated goes to Dr. Pasternak's LBD research. Tax receipts are issued by the University of Western Ontario since the Robarts Research Institute is part of the Schulich School of Dentistry and Medicine at Western.
